Driving Skill Modeling Using Neural Networks for Performance-Based Haptic Assistance

چکیده

This article addresses a data-driven framework, modeling expert driving skills for performance-based haptic assistance using neural networks (NNs). We have built training simulator to collect data and provide proper feedback. establish an skill model by NNs with the collected data. Then, is applied optimized references of steering/pedaling movements. evaluate its application in two user experiments. The results first experiment demonstrate that our has appropriately captured experts' skills. second show can help novice drivers perform steering as drivers, but cannot assist their pedaling performance.
